David Oatis, an agronomist with the USGA Green Section will be making his annual visit on Wednesday July 9th at 8:30am. We will meet at the turf maintenance building and then tour the course until about noon. This is always an informative visit and any questions you have concerning the maintenance of the course will be anwsered. David visits over 130 courses in the Northeast annually. He brings a wealth of information and an impartial perspective regarding turfgrass growth requirements, how these requirements might best be managed for golf, and ideas that other golf courses have found to be beneficial.
