The contractor has finished with the slit drainage installation on #8, #9, and #16 fairways. This completes the planned drainage work for 2011.
We installed the winter covers on our greens today. With cool temperatures rain, and possible snow in the forecast, this looks like the last good day for a while. Let's hope mother nature cooperates and we survive the winter unscathed. The best case scenario is a nice blanket of snow for insulation and then a quick melt in the spring.
