Here it Comes!

Summer is here and the grass is growing like crazy. We've had a cool, wet spring and all of that moisture combined with the recent heat wave has caused a surge in growth. This surge happens every spring but is about 2 weeks later than usual this year. We have all of our rough mowing equipment going full time but we may fall a little behind. We normally cut all of our rough twice per week but when the grass is growing quickly, it needs to be cut three times per week. We will get through it, but expect the rough to be a little bit longer for the next week or two.

Below are a couple of shots of the green staff out preparing the course for play. This early rising, hard working group rarely gets the credit they deserve.
