It took three days to pump about 500,000 gallons of water out of the pond on #3. This was done to allow it to dry out it for construction. As you can see from the pictures, there are quite a few golf balls in the bottom. Thinking of going in to retrieve a few? I wouldn't. There is a 6-8 inch layer of very soft organic material that you will sink into very quickly. Most of the balls have been there quite a while and are waterlogged anyway. Hopefully it stops raining and the bottom of the pond has a chance to dry out. This will make construction much easier.
