In anticipation of the springlike temperatures (finally!) this weekend, we are removing most of our winter covers today. We had to shovel a little snow off many of them and the only ones that still have a lot of snow are #5 and #14. We want to get them off because we are worried that the warm temperatures and strong April sun will heat things up too much under the covers causing disease problems. The covers have now been on for a very long time and our snow mould protection (applied in November) is very likely running out. As you can see from the pictures below, everything looks good underneath the covers. It is still WAY too early to even guess at an opening date but I will keep everyone up to date on this blog.
